  • All examinations performed away from our office will incur a call out fee. This can be shared between clients on the same property. The fee varies from $20-$70 for the Mornington Peninsula.

  • Clients may prefer to purchase medications from an online pharmacy. To do this the following conditions will need to be met for this to happen:

    1. We need to have seen the horse in question for the condition the medication is used for in the previous 3 months.

    2. You will be required to contact the clinic regarding the prescription.

    3. We will then email a form via docusign to complete. For this form you will need to details of the pharmacy including email address, and postal address.

    4. There is a fee of $65 for this prescription if provided after the consult has occurred previously, $25 if at the time of the consult. This has to be paid before issuing the prescription.

    5. We will email the pharmacy within 2 business days of receiving the completed docusign document, and post a hard copy of the prescription direct to the pharmacy.

A prescription will be provided offering at a maximum 6 months treatment. After this time a repeat examination and prescription will be issued. Blood tests may be required based on the condition being treated which is at the discretion of the examining veterinary surgeon.

Please note we take no responsibility of any medication supplied from an online pharmacy. If there is a delay in delivery we can not take responsibility.
