Nurse Meg Stafford

Veterinary Nurse

After working in small animal practice for 12 years doing everything from general and surgical nursing to specialist medical nursing and practice management, it was time to explore a strong passion of mine which was equine nursing.

Owning three horses, I understand the need for an excellent Vet team that is honest, dedicated and able to think outside the square from time to time.  I joined Tweedie and Associates in 2022, completed my equine nursing certificate and can honestly say I have found my happy place.

I love being part of such a dedicated team, helping to solve our patient's problems, getting to know our clients  and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

Nurse Jessica Delaney

Veterinary Nurse

Nurse Jessica Delaney

Jess has grown up with horses and has been riding since she was a little girl, spending many years in Pony Club and out competing most weekends. Originally from South Gippsland, Jess moved to England at the age of 15 and returned when she was 19 with her partner Stephen.

Jess is a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse and began nursing at a small animal only practice. Eventually, Jess moved to a mixed practice clinic to get more equine nursing experience before realising that her focus of interest solely resided with horses. Jess started with Tweedie and Associates as a Veterinary Assistant and feels like she has found her calling in life. Jess really enjoys assisting the vets with their calls, especially lameness work ups and gastroscopes.

Jess is owned by her sassy Thoroughbred Bronson, who she is aiming to get back out competing in dressage with. Jess also still has her first childhood Shetland Pony, Lightening.

Nurse Laura Grinblat

Veterinary Nurse

Laura joined the clinic in 2024. Laura has had a love for animals, in particular horses, since before she could remember and began riding at an early age. This led her to working within the Racing industry and Dressage performance stables for several years, before pursuing a career in veterinary nursing.

Laura is a fully qualified veterinary nurse who began her nursing career in small animal practice. Although enjoying all facets of small animal nursing, the opportunity to work as an equine nurse to combine her expertise in veterinary nursing with her love of horses was an exciting next step and too good to pass up.
Laura loves all aspects of equine nursing and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, ensuring every patient receives the attention they deserve.

Outside of work, Laura lives on the Peninsula with her 3 horses and 2 cats, who keep her life just as busy and fulfilling as her career. '
